Skrivanek introduces its renewed brand: a new chapter in language and technology-driven solutions

Over more than three decades, Skrivanek has grown from a traditional translation agency into a language solutions partner operating across multiple European markets. However, today the industry is changing faster than ever. Artificial intelligence, automated translation tools, and the increasing volume of content are pushing organizations to rethink how they work with text, content, and complex projects.

These shifts are one of the key reasons why Skrivanek is introducing a renewed brand and positioning, one that better reflects who we are today and where we are heading.

“Over the past few years, we’ve seen a clear shift: companies no longer want to simply ‘translate a text.’ They are looking for a partner who can help them find the best way to achieve their goals. Whether that’s localization, language training, content adaptation, or intercultural communication. Our renewed brand reflects this role: a solutions partner connecting language, technology, and complexity, rather than just a service provider,” says Kristina Šuškevič, CEO of Skrivanek.

A symbol connecting language and technology

The new Skrivanek brand symbol features brackets, a sign that belongs to two worlds at once. In language, brackets help clarify meaning and provide context. In programming, they are a fundamental structural element of code.

By choosing this symbol, we reflect what is happening across our industry today: language and technology are becoming increasingly interconnected. While AI and automation accelerate processes, human expertise and linguistic intuition remain essential.

The market is changing: technology enhances, but does not replace

The rise of artificial intelligence and machine translation has transformed the language industry. Tasks that once required significant time and manual effort can now be completed much faster. At the same time, new challenges have emerged.

More and more organizations are realizing that automated solutions work well only up to a point. In more complex projects – legal, medical, marketing, or training content – success depends not only on words, but also on context, cultural nuance, terminology, and accountability.

Technology increases efficiency and helps manage large volumes of content, but quality is still ensured by people, their expertise, critical thinking, and ability to interpret meaning.

From translation to solutions

While translation remains an important part of our work, Skrivanek now operates in a much broader space. Our team works with a wide range of linguistic and cultural challenges – from complex multilingual projects and localization, to developing tailored methodologies for specific industries, and delivering language training, intercultural communication programs, integration support, and long-term strategic implementation.

For many clients, the key is not a specific service, but the result. Sometimes organizations know their goal, but not the best way to achieve it. In these cases, Skrivanek acts as a consulting partner, analysing the situation, defining the right approach, and delivering the solution.

Service trends

A clear trend is emerging in the language industry: while technology accelerates processes, the role of human expertise is becoming even more important. Demand is growing for editing and quality assurance services, especially for content translated by clients themselves, generated by machine translation, or produced using AI tools. Organizations need this content to be refined so it sounds natural and meets language standards.

At the same time, there is a steady demand for interpreting services in meetings and conferences, as well as certified document translation, where accuracy and compliance are critical.

We also see increasing demand for practical language training in organizations, particularly English courses focused on real workplace communication, collaboration with international colleagues, meetings, and day-to-day interactions. Additionally, there is a growing demand for Lithuanian language training for foreigners, combining language learning with sociocultural understanding, as well as preparation for official language exams.

These trends show that organizations today need more than just translation or language training; they need a broader approach to language as a tool for clearer understanding and more effective collaboration.

Complexity as a daily reality

Language projects are often more complex than they initially appear. They may involve non-standard formats, multiple languages at once, specialized terminology, or sensitive and confidential data.

Skrivanek’s experience shows that real value emerges in these situations through the ability to structure processes, select the right technological tools, and assemble the right team of specialists.

The company operates under six ISO standards, ensuring quality, security, and process management. But equally important is the team’s mindset: project managers and specialists work as an extension of the client’s team with the same level of ownership, responsibility, and attention to detail.

A new brand, a broader perspective

The renewed brand represents more than a visual change. It defines the direction Skrivanek has been moving toward for some time, from individual services to integrated solutions, from supplier to partner.

Today, language, technology, and human expertise come together in a single ecosystem, where the outcome matters more than the process itself. This is where Skrivanek creates value by combining the speed of technology, the expertise of people, and structured project management to ensure that even the most complex language projects are delivered smoothly.
